Wanted: Perfect Eyebrows

I used to be one of the throngs of women who would painstakingly spend hours just to achieve well-defined brows.   The effort that goes into creating perfect brows is such that when we finally have done them perfectly, we feel very proud.  And we become prouder even if our friends compliment us about it.  A pair of great eyebrows, alluring lips,  pinkish cheeks, subtly-shaded eyes, make a good made up face and who doesn't want it?  After four scores and more, my struggle with creating the perfect eyebrows whenever I apply make up is now a thing of the past because after my microshading and strokes under the cosmetic tattoo specialist of The Brow Studio, I could wake up looking like Julia Barretto and when I look into the mirror, I feel 5 years younger.

Like you, I am curious as to what this technology is:  How is it done and is it painful?  Well, microblading is just one of the many forms of semi-permanent tattoo.  It involves using tiny needles to form a blade and it helps deposit pigments under the skin.   The first step is to measure the thickness of the shade as well as the length of the brow.  My brows are really short, so one of the things that was done was extend them a little bit.

Before the topical anesthesia is applied, the aesthetician showed me the 'design' of my brows and got my approval.   The topical anesthesia was applied after that.   We need to wait for 30 minutes to make the anesthesia take effect.  Just imagine how painful it would be if there is no anesthesia...ouch.  After 30 minutes, she proceeded to do the microblading.   She needed to do it gently and follow the contour, surface and "texture" of my brows in order to have a natural finish.

Occasionally, I would feel a little pain maybe because the topical anesthesia have started to wane.  Whenever I would wince, the esthetician or cosmetic tattoo specialist would apply another coat of anesthesia and then she would proceed with the stroking.   Here's a tip:  According to the esthetician, ladies who would use toner often bleed a lot when the stroking is done.  Fortunately for me, I am not a bleeder because I very rarely use a toner.  So I hope that is a helpful tip for you ladies out there who are interested in getting a microblading job.

Check out the big difference guys.  This was how my eyebrows were prior to the shading and strokes.  My brows were not equal in width, length, and even form.   So can you just imagine the struggles I would have morning after morning with the eyebrows that I have?  I'm sure many of you can identify with me in my misery.  But thank you to the professionals at The Brow Studio, my dream eyebrows are now tangible.   I can enjoy my newly-acquired brows for the next two to three years and I can then get them retouched if I want them darker again.
