5 Reasons To Hang-out at Skippy's

If you are looking for the perfect watering hole to hang-out, share a few drinks with friends, watch your favorite ball game like volleyball, soccer or basketball, or any sport on a big screen, then Skippy's is the best place for you.   Owned by an Australian, Stephen Bird, Skippy's is basically new.  It opened in 2015, but already popular among the BGC crowd of professionals.   Here are some of the reasons why I choose Skippy's over other bars in Metro Manila.  1.  Every time you turn your head, there is a television where you can watch the on-going games.  I have never been to a place where you can see TV sets mounted conspicuously on all four walls and two gigantic screens that even the passers-by could watch the games.  I'm a TV fan, so the sight of a screen or a TV set is already a big plus for me. 2.  It is great for non-smokers.  And even if you're a smoker, you can still see the games from the smoking area because of...

Pinoys are so crazy about street food or even just food, in general.  Maybe it comes with the hospitality trait that Pinoys are known for.  Visit a friend's house and the first thing they ask you is, "Have you eaten?"  We also like to feed others, whether it's a small meal or a grand meal, it is a big deal for us Pinoys. If you walk down the streets of Manila or other towns in the Philippines, you will notice different kinds of street foods.  There might be similarities of  street foods from town to town but there are unique ones too.  I will try to compile the most common street foods as well as the unique ones, as I will most likely see one or two,  in my walks and travels.
