Going to Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag Via TPLEX

The Church of our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag is a popular destination for the religious especially to the devotees of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.  Some people come over to also ask for guidance in their travels and I was one of them.  I was leaving for Cebu to spend a weekend before the beaches of Bantayan Island would become crowded, as you know, Summer 2017 was approaching and my companions would not hear going to Cebu without visiting the dear Lady. And what a time to visit the church of Manaoag as it was named a basilica minore by no less than Pope Francis, just three months before he would come to the Philippines to see the Yolanda victims and the people in Pangasinan are just so overjoyed and proud.  What happens to a church when it is declared a basilica minore? It's Lenten Specials 2015 at Eat Bulaga

Lenten Specials became an annual presentation by the EB Dabarkads since 1981, which was about 34 years ago.  During this season, Kapuso fans are treated to 6 different productions that showcase the EB Dabarkads' talent in drama.  Kapuso fans will see their idols portray roles which are completely opposite their natural funny characters.   So in the EB Dabarkads' tradition, we will see them again on Holy Monday, Holy Tuesday and Holy Wednesday.   I got the chance to see their Holy Tuesday feature entitled:  "Pinagpalang Ama."  The story is about a father, portrayed by Joey de Leon, who has three sons who turned out to be all gays.  Now, unlike other parents, he has learned to accept his children wholeheartedly.  One of the children, played by Ryan Agoncillo, came out of the closet rather late.  The family's problems started soon after he revealed his sexuality.
