Kanto Fare with a Twist

A badminton-mate had been raving about 'kanto,'  a new tiny but terrible resto that has been earning high ratings from customers at the Eastwood City Area.  It does not sound like a highfalutin, fancy kind of resto but it can give any gourmet restos stiff competition.  Its origins can be traced in Mandaluyong area  where it became a hit and a favorite of the community.  This is one of the originals that I highly recommend especially in this scorching summer heat.  I admit that ice scramble is something I am not keen about, but Kantos version of the affordable refreshment., the ice scramble, which can be easily bought from food carts along the road, will definitely change your opinion of this 'pang-masa' cooler.  Kanto totally repackaged the simple ice scramble with additives that added texture and richness to make it competitive with the halu-halo and sundae.  This marvel costs only P35.  It is no cheap treat, because of its nutritional value and incredible ta
