Lenten Specials became an annual presentation by the EB Dabarkads since 1981, which was about 34 years ago. During this season, Kapuso fans are treated to 6 different productions that showcase the EB Dabarkads' talent in drama. Kapuso fans will see their idols portray roles which are completely opposite their natural funny characters. So in the EB Dabarkads' tradition, we will see them again on Holy Monday, Holy Tuesday and Holy Wednesday. I got the chance to see their Holy Tuesday feature entitled: "Pinagpalang Ama." The story is about a father, portrayed by Joey de Leon, who has three sons who turned out to be all gays. Now, unlike other parents, he has learned to accept his children wholeheartedly. One of the children, played by Ryan Agoncillo, came out of the closet rather late. The family's problems started soon after he revealed his sexuality. "Pinagpalang Ama" is directed by Bb.
