5 Reasons to Dine at The Buffet

If you are a frequent Commonwealth Avenue commuter or passer-by, you surely have seen this elegantly decorated structure with a big and bold THE BUFFET name on it.  The facade may look imposing  however, the ambience and the interior are very welcoming.  And that, is just the initial feeling you'd experience.  Here's what I noticed and what I like about dining in THE BUFFET.

1.  The warm service of the staff.  The servers are just too happy to serve their guests, it;s as though it's a mortal sin to keep the diners waiting.  Their presence around you is like having your own footman by your side.

2.  You can take your sweet time eating until you max out the allowable period to stay for lunch or dinner without feeling guilty that you are depriving someone in the waiting area a chance to enjoy a great meal.  I've noticed in some buffets especially those inside malls, that there is a long queue in the waiting area, while inside, diners are scampering to get their food as if the food will run out any minute. It's practically a madhouse that the elegance is gone.

3.  Their desert selection is a-plenty.  This impressed me most.  I've been to some buffet restos where only a handful cakes that taste so bad are in the desert/pastry corner.  Deserts are still part of a meal, so they still should be decent.  I don't mind a handful as long as they are really great deserts, the kind that I would be thinking about before I fall asleep.   I will specially mention their braso de mercedes. It's not your garden variety braso de mercedes and you will only know the difference if you come to THE BUFFET.

4. The array of food is not overwhelming.  After many years of operation, they know why their customers frequently return and which are the bestsellers.   There is food for the traditional eaters  and there is food for those willing to try something new.   The trick is to take your sweet time so that you don't get full fast and you get to try their new preparations.

5. Very spacious.  I hate it when I don't have enough elbow room and I block someone's way inside a resto.  In THE BUFFET,  you can move easily without ending face-to-face with someone (which can be irritating).  There is more than enough space for restless children to move around without annoying the diners around you.

So on Fathers' Day or any other occasion, come to THE BUFFET for a hassle-free dining experience. and enjoy the food, the venue and the service.  THE BUFFET is soooooo affordable that you can take the entire family and celebrate any occasion minus any worry at all!!!.
