Unli- Treats at Hodai Fusion Restaurant

Rarely can we see unlimited treats for a budget-friendly price, but here at Hodai, you'd find just that.  Hodai is a Japanese word which means unlimited.  So to use it in context, we say Hodai sushi, hodai tempura, hodai pork and beef barbecue, hodai sake, and many more.

Located at 14 Examiner Street, this new establishment easily became a hit in the area, even with other establishments around it.  Filipinos took a liking to its spacious interiors, wide and airy, bright and welcoming.  This minimalist  sign tells of a zen principle of the Japanese culture.   On this sunny August 26 day, Hodai is teeming with diners, all taking advantage of the big-slash off the original price in celebration of its 100th days of operation.

Each set menu comes with a sushi platter.

Hodai combines Japanese, Korean and some European dishes to come up with a unique dish that can be claimed the Hodai version.  They use both local and imported ingredients in their dishes, that's one of the reasons they call their dishes, the fusion version.

Hodai's eat-all-you can treat is so affordable, you can bring other members of the family, even children because their meal versions are so child-friendly.  And because of its wide area, it can accomodate big groups, even hold parties, some partitions can even be reserved for a private gathering and here are some of the items best to try:

The owners just know how to suit the Filipino culture of dining.  That Filipino families are always looking for restaurants that offer delicious, quality but light-on-the-wallet meals.  And they spend time on the dinner table a lot...

Getting here is really quite easy as you can take any transportation that goes by Quezon Avenue.   You can get off at Examiner Street and may go on foot down the road until you see the restaurant on the left side with this sign.

Some cuisine are really about acquired taste.  Some people appreciate the sourness and saltiness of Korean food,  while others love the spiciness of Japanese food, while some people try to find the Filipino taste in European cuisine.  Here's the restaurant that tries to incorporate all flavors to suit the Filipino palate which is a combination of all, but majority into the sweet and sour side.
